About Scout Cage
Please keep checking back for the pitching version of the Scout Cage, tentatively scheduled for release in the spring of 2026, which combines ProBatter’s Strike Out Pro pitching trainer with a tracking device and video recorders to measure a pitcher’s ability to command their pitches, hit specific zones, and analyze pitch speeds, spin rates, etc. Again, an AI-based algorithm will assign grades to a pitcher’s performance in comparison with other similarly aged pitchers.
Gone are the days when a coach or scout is forced to scout a player competing against inferior talent, requiring them to guesstimate how the player will perform at the next level.
The Scout Cage systems are available for players of all ages, from tryouts for Little League, High School, American Legion, College, and professional baseball. It is anticipated that mobile versions of the Scout Cage will be available, subsidized by sponsors. The following links are provided:

Top Prospect Scouting Service
Top Prospect Scouting Service, or TPSS for short, is the umbrella structure for Scout Cages, which are located remotely throughout the United States and abroad. ProBatter is currently developing a cloud-based system that will store data generated from the various Scout Cages, including video records of each session. It is anticipated that such a system should be available in late summer 2026. Such data will be accessible by college coaches and college scouts around the country and the world on a subscription basis. Players who participate in the Scout Cages will be charged a nominal fee, a portion of which will be returned to the owner of the batting cage. College Coaches and College Scouts will similarly be charged for access to the database, either on a one-time basis or through a monthly or annual subscription. Sponsors will be sought to provide further assistance in underwriting the program.
